When I created the mood board for this shoot, it was with Herrana in mind. Her presence carries a stillness that feels cinematic, but also a power that refuses to shrink. She steps into the frame not as a muse, but as a mirror, grounded, elegant, unafraid.
We played with texture, light, and restraint. Every detail was deliberate, but nothing forced.
You feel the other parts of her practice in the room: filmmaker, organizer, strategist. The camera isn’t there to change her; it’s there to act as proof for a woman who knows why she’s here.
